# Seal's compliance certifications

Seal Security holds the following certifications:

* **SOC 2 Type II.** Independent audit covering security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy controls.
* **ISO/IEC 27001.** International standard for information security management systems.

## The trust portal

Audit reports, security policies, and the current attestation documents are published at:

The portal carries:

* The current SOC 2 Type II report (under NDA, requestable from the portal).
* The current ISO 27001 certificate.
* Seal's security policies and procedures.
* Subprocessor lists and other supporting documents commonly needed during a vendor risk review.

If your security team needs evidence Seal does not publish openly, contact [your Seal account team](/introduction/audience-guides/security-leader.md) or request it through the trust portal.

## What these certifications cover

Both certifications cover Seal Security as the operator of the Seal Platform. They are statements about how Seal runs its own organization and platform: access controls, vendor management, incident response, change management, and so on. They are not statements about the sealed packages Seal produces, which are covered separately by the per-package [attestations](/trust/attestations.md) and [signing](/trust/signing.md).
